Mums Make Porn Channel 4

Its been a busy old time.  I noticed the last time I published was two years ago!  Wow!  To all of you who have loyally returned, my thanks and apologies.


What have we all been up to?  A LOT would be the answer, and Instagram!  It seemed to take away the need to Blog, an alluring platform that seduces you with the expeditious nature of pressing a few buttons.  Unlike the more personal and consuming art of writing, The Instagram snap shot felt easy to me.

With that I'd like to create a comfortable balance of both here.  I am, after all, a sharer in extreme and love both the visual and the narrative quite equally.

This brings me on to my recent 'busy-ness'.  Actually lets go back again!  If you have followed me over the years, you are used to this.  I write how I think and speak.  All over the place. A great description that comes to mind is my house guests, sitting parched as I natter away, my husband entering the room after 20 minutes and asking whether I had offered them a drink. Of course I hadn't.    Not because I didn't want to.  But because, the excitement of visitors and the extreme sharer in me had just jumped in at the deep end; asking questions, sharing, laughing and forgetting to take jackets and make tea...  So if you are new, WELCOME!!!  My name is Anita and I write how I think and speak.  This is me remembering to offer you tea.

Now, where were we.  Ah yes, busy-ness!  I joined a group of women, beautiful, intelligent, mums.
We  wrote, styled, directed and screened our own Porn film as part of a documentary-series for UK television, Channel 4.  "Why?" you may ask, personally, my aim was to create dialogue, build awareness and challenge stereotypes.  It was a great project to be part of and just the beginning.




The boys are growing, physically, mentally, rapidly.  Sal is 25, Kaliyl 16 and completing his GCSE's this week; Alexander is 10 and the baby is no longer a baby.  Zach is 7.

     

Many things have changed and I aim to update you by throwing you straight in!  Every Wednesday our thoughts and actions will be shared here on Blogger.  Back to where we started.
