Cooking with Alexander; Sticky Ribs

Yum yum yummy!!

4 year old Alexander from London, cooks a deliciously sticky meal of lamb ribs, remembering that when handling raw meat it is important to wash our hands often.

Ingredients needed for this recipe:

Spare Ribs (we used lamb)
Half a lemon for washing the ribs

For the dry rub
Coarse salt 
Coarse ground black pepper
Whole cloves
All purpose seasoning (this is a staple product at home!!)
Jerk seasoning, powder
Fresh thyme
1 clove of fresh garlic

For the glaze/sticky sauce
Tomato Ketchup
BBQ sauce (we used a smokey flavoured one)
Runny honey

We served our ribs with plain basmati rice and whole green beans.  The ribs would be great with sweet potato chips and coleslaw, and they can be cooked on the barbeque for even better results!!
